Oil on canvas, 40 hours' painting.
This is a painting based on a picture I found in my grandmother's album. I do not know this woman.....What I loved about her is her expression....this expression of serenity and calmness that the reading of a good book can give you....I do not feel very comfortable with portraits...but I felt I had to do this one...I hope you like it!!
